Product Inspection Services in Asia

Product Inspections performed at various stages of the manufacturing process (initial, inline, pre-shipment) will ensure the bulk production meets certain designed specifications and certain quality criteria, thus protecting you from customer complaints, product recalls or reputational damage.

What is Quality Inspection?

In a demanding consumer market, manufacturers and retailers must prioritize product quality and safety to attract customers. However, the diversified supply chains presents challenges for ensuring compliance and maintaining high-quality products.

Conducting quality inspections at different production stages at factory helps ensure that the bulk production adheres to the required specifications and defined quality standards. This proactive approach safeguards buyers and importers against customer complaints, product recalls, and potential damage to business reputation or even customer attrition.

So, what do we check for a Quality Inspection?

•  Quantity verification (semi, finished and packed).
•  Workmanship and Finishing (visual check to identify defects for further actions, e.g. rework, replacement, rejection).
•  Product Conformity against tech packs, PP comments, approved sample (material, construction,  dimensions, colors).
•  Functions as intended and as per specifications
•  Packing method and quality, assortment, marking, and labeling.
•  All applicable Field Tests and Data Measurements (size measurement, assembly test, loading test, humidity test, etc.). *
•  Customers’ special attention points

What types of Quality Inspection do we provide?

Initial Production Inspection

Detect and prevent problems in an early stage, which if not identified, might cause customers and manufacturers huge losses in bulk production.

  • Are all materials ready to start the production soon?
  • What is the condition of the materials?
  • Are factory facilities and machinery in good condition and ready?
  • Are my product specifications understood well by the supplier?
    And more.

During Production Inspection

During Production Inspection, as known as Inline Inspection, is performed when 10-50% of the production is completed.

It is to keep the production on the right track, and detect and prevent problems in an early stage, which if not identified, might cause customers and manufacturers huge losses in bulk production.

Pre-Shipment Inspection

It is performed when production is 100% finished and packing is 80% finished. It is the last defense line of identify quality issues before shipment and avoid paying for defective goods.

With this service, buyers are able to see for themselves whether the bulk quality are as expected and determine whether to approve or reject the shipment or request rework actions.

Container Loading Supervision

Container Loading Supervision ensures the right goods in correct quantity breakdown are loaded into containers correctly and with care. Generally, it is to

  • Reduce the risk of trade scams
  • Prevent wrong packing list or other misinformation, which may affect customs clearance and warehousing
  • Avoid damage or contamination during transportation
  • Facilitate further processing at customer warehouse

Production Monitoring

It is to put an inspector(s) on your factory floor to continually monitor production throughout the production process or for a certain period. Daily updates on production status and any corrective actions are available. It is applicable in many circumstances:

  • first order with new supplier
  • orders of high importance or value
  • multiple failures for the same recurring defects
